You'll Never Guess Who's No. 4 on the List of Best Retailers

              

I was watching Fox Business the other day and they had on a businessman who had sold his company to Macy's, and he happened to mention that Macy's was one of the biggest e-commerce business in America.

That seemed unbelievable to me. So, Macy's is killing it online. That's right - Macy's, Inc., that old, old department store with the Thanksgiving balloons of Snoopy, makes more money over the Web than any American company other than three.

Holy cow. Who woulda thunk it? The first three biggest (in terms of dollars' worth of total sales) are easy to figure. (Hell, sell a few iMacs to a sixth-grade class and Apple's revenues make the top 3.) But Macy's did $4.6 billion in online sales. Wow. Good for them. The old school can still kick it.
